JOINING TABLES — TERMS OF SERVICE
Governing Law: England and Wales
Effective Date: 6 May 2026

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS
   By accessing or using Joining Tables (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
2. PLATFORM ROLE
   Joining Tables is a neutral technology intermediary that enables users to create, discover, and join social gatherings (“Tables”).
   The Company:
   • Does not organise, host, or supervise Tables
   • Is not a party to any agreement between users
   • Does not guarantee user behaviour or safety
3. ELIGIBILITY
   You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you confirm you meet this requirement.
4. USER RESPONSIBILITY
   You are solely responsible for:
   • Your interactions with other users
   • Your participation in any Table
   • Your personal safety and decisions
   You agree to use the Platform lawfully and responsibly.
5. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
   You acknowledge and agree that:
   • Meeting strangers involves inherent risk
   • The Company does not verify user identity or background
   • The Company does not guarantee safety or accuracy of user information
   • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with use of the Platform
6. PLATFORM IMMUNITY & NO CONTROL
   To the fullest extent permitted by law:
   • The Company is a passive intermediary
   • The Company does not control user content or behaviour
   • The Company has no duty to monitor user activity
   • The Company is not liable for offline or online conduct of users
7. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
   You agree not to:
   • Harass, abuse, or threaten others
   • Engage in illegal activity
   • Misrepresent your identity
   • Use the Platform for fraud or exploitation
   • Attempt to bypass safety or enforcement systems
8. CONTENT & LICENCE
   You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, host, and display your content for Platform operation.
9. MODERATION & ENFORCEMENT
   The Company may, at its sole discretion:
   • Remove content
   • Suspend or terminate accounts
   • Restrict access to the Platform
   No obligation exists to monitor or enforce consistently.
10. LIABILITY LIMITATION
    To the fullest extent permitted by law:
    The Company is not liable for:
    • Any injury, loss, or damage arising from user interactions
    • Offline events or meetings
    • User conduct or misrepresentation
    • Indirect or consequential losses
    Maximum aggregate liability is limited to £100 or fees paid in the last 12 months (if any).
    Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
11. INDEMNITY
    You agree to indemnify the Company against any claims arising from:
    • Your use of the Platform
    • Your interactions with other users
    • Your breach of these Terms
12. TERMINATION
    The Company may suspend or terminate your access at any time without notice.
13. GOVERNING LAW
    These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
    These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company.
